Question:
Assalam Alaikum, I hope you are fine. I want to ask a question about hajj. As you know now a days its difficult and expensive to go on hajj. I live in Dubai.I have friends in saudi and they can send visit visa of saudi but that visa is valid for all saudi except makkah and is not for hajj, but you can go for hajj by illigel way by road, my question is that if i go on visit visa and then i do hajj is it halal and will be accepted by Allah? wassalam
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The visa does not have any relationship with the validity of Hajj. If a person performs Hajj with all its pillars then his Hajj is valid whether he/she entered the country with a visit visa or Hajj visa or commercial visa or entered without a visa at all, but it is not permissible to lie when taking the visa.
Allaah Knows best.
