If you mean Imaam Ibn An-Nahhaas, the scholar and grammarian, below is a brief synopsis of him adapted from Al-Haafith Ath-Thahabi's Siyar A‘laam An-Nubalaa'.
He is the learned scholar, master of Arabic language, Abu Ja‘far Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ismaa‘eel, Al-Misri (the Egyptian), An-Nahwi, (the grammarian), the composer of many books. He went to Baghdad and learned at the hands of Az-Zajjaaj.
Among his books are I‘raab Al-Quran; Ishtiqaaq Al-Asmaa‘ Al-Husna; Tafseer Abyaat Sibawayh; Kitaab Al-Ma‘aani; Al-Kaafi Fee An-Nahw; and An-Naasikh wal-Mansookh. According to Ath-Thahabi he was one of the most intelligent men in the world.
