All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
First of all, we ask Allaah The Almighty to facilitate your affairs, alleviate your troubles and rectify your husband for you. If what you mentioned is true that your husband stays up with his friends and does not come home except late at night, this is against the Divine instruction in which Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And live with them in kindness.} [Quran 4:19] Moreover, drinking alcohol and abandoning prayer are worse than that, since both are grave major sins. For further information about the ruling and harms of drinking wine, see Fataawa 81567 and 86328. See also Fatwa 85264 which explains the ruling on quitting prayers.
However, we invite your husband to sincerely repent to Allaah immediately. He has done well as he started performing prayers, but he must not neglect any prayer. He must perform them regularly at their fixed times. He also has done well when he reduced drinking alcohol, but he must quit it completely. Indeed, wine is the mother of all evils and the major reason behind many evil acts.
In principle, the woman has to live where her husband lives; but since the case in UK is as you mentioned, we see that moving to Kenya was the correct decision. Lastly, we advise you to do your best to help your husband in his religious and worldly affairs.
Allaah Knows best.
