A woman joins her husband in Paradise

Question:

My wife passed away and now I wish to take a second wife. Which one of them will be my wife in the Hereafter? Also, who will be the husband of the other wife?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.

 

First of all, we ask Allaah The Almighty to admit all Muslims to Paradise. Please note that in Paradise the woman will be the wife of the husband to whom she was married in this world if they both enter Paradise. The same applies to other wives as well. Hence, the man who has one or more wives in this world, will have them with him in Paradise as long as they did not marry again to another man.
