All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
You are wrong for two reasons:
1- Fleeing away from your first wife: this could expose your family to be ruined, and your wife and child could be harmed. It is confirmed that the Prophet said: “It is enough a sin for a person not to provide means of sustenance to those whom he is obliged to support.” [Ahmad and Abu Daawood]
2- Lying to your second wife and informing her that you divorced your first wife. The basic principle is that lying is forbidden.
Therefore, you have to repent to Allaah and endeavor to rectify your mistakes. You should seek the forgiveness of both your wives for being negligent towards them and you should have good marital relationships with both of them. Then, if any of them does not want to stay as your wife within reasonable terms, you may divorce her in kindness.
As regards your first wife and what you mentioned that she filed a case against you in court, then try to reconcile with her and seek the help of rational and righteous people from her family and yours so that they will try to reconcile between the two of you.
Allaah Knows best.
