All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The food does not become Haraam (prohibited) just for being cooked by a drunken person unless the cook has done something that necessitates its prohibition, like rendering it impure and the like. So, in principle, the food is Halaal (lawful) unless it is proven otherwise.
It should be noted that the animals slaughtered by a drunken person are unlawful to eat; as among the conditions of the person who is slaughtering is that he has to be sane and discerning. So if the food is cooked from the meat of an animal which he had slaughtered while he was drunk, then this meat is unlawful.
Allaah Knows best.
