All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
The adornment here refers to the ornaments with which the believer will be adorned in the Hereafter. It is also said that it means the brightness and light that appear on the organs of Wudhoo’ (ablution) of the believer.
Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said: “The believer will be adorned in Paradise, be it a man or a woman, with that adornment which will reach as far as the Wudhoo’ reaches. Accordingly, the adornment of the hands will be to the elbows because Wudhoo’ reaches the elbows."
Allaah Knows best.
