Where the torment of the grave occurs

Does the torment of the grave occur in the heavens? Is the grave only a place for putting the body of the deceased, in other words the dead is not subjected to torment there?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

 

What you mentioned is false, invalid and contradicts the authentic texts of Sharee‘ah that prove the existence of the torment of the grave.

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, mentioned that the soul of a dead person is restored to his body. There are many authentic narrations that act as clear proof substantiating the fact that the delight and torment of the grave occur in the grave itself. This was also proven with the ascription of the torment to the grave in other prophetic Hadeeths.
