Question:

Where did Mohammad most receive revelations through Jibrel alayhis-salaam? outside or inside his house
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Jibreel may Allaah exalt his mention came to the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) for the first time outside his house in the Cave of Hiraa’. Sometimes he came to him inside the house and sometimes outside the house. In the Hadeeth reported by Muslim, Jibreel came to the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) and the Companions (outside the Prophet's house) to teach them their religion. Also, ‘Aa’ishah narrated that the revelation came down to the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) in her home.

We have not come across a text that shows where he received revelation most, and this does not result in a significant benefit. A person should occupy himself with what benefits him.
