All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alyhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
The name of the person in question is Kareem (Agha Khaan IV), who was born in 1957 C.E. and is still alive. This person belongs to the sect of the Ismaa'eeliyyah, known as Aghakhaaniyyah. It first appeared in Iran during the first third of the nineteenth century and their creed goes back to the creed of Nizaari Ismaa‘eeliyyah.
The sect exists in many countries and cities, including Nairobi, Dar As-Salaam, Congo, India and Syria, while its main center is in Karachi, Pakistan.
It is well-known that this sect is deviant because its creed includes invalid beliefs that go back to the philosophy and ancient creeds of the Persians and Buddhists. For example, they deny the attributes of Allaah The Almighty, believe in the transmigration of souls, and consider the prohibitions of Allaah The Exalted lawful.
Al-Ghazaali further stated that it was reported that they unconditionally legalize all prohibitions and deny the religion.
Allaah Knows best.
