All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The Islamic Sharee'ah does not forbid a woman from working as long as she abides by the relevant Sharee'ah guidelines that were previously underlined in fatwa 83607. There is no religious impediment for a Muslim woman to hold the job to which the asker referred as long as those guidelines are observed. The woman’s voice is not ʻawrah (something that should be hidden in public) according to the preponderant opinion in this regard.
Although we adopt the scholarly view that it is allowable for the Muslim woman to work, we still believe that it is preferable for her to work in a place where she would be the furthest from temptations and all that which may lead to them so that she would not be a reason for leading others astray and be safe from being led astray as well. Hence, it is better for a woman to abide in her house as much as possible; Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {And abide in your houses...} [Quran 33:33]
Allaah knows best.
