All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means):
- {...and who is more true in word than Allaah?} [Quran 4:87]
- {...and who is more truthful than Allaah in statement?} [Quran 4:122]
- {And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice.} [Quran 6:115]
Tafseer scholars commented on these verses saying, "It means that whatever Allaah says is the truth and that He is Most Just in what He commands."
Indeed, all of the statements of Allaah are absolutely true, there is no doubt or room for speculation about this fact, and all His commandments are perfect justice. It is inconceivable that Allaah would lie; it contradicts His absolute perfection. It is absolutely impossible that Allaah would tell a lie, and that which is impossible (does not exist because it cannot exist) does not belong to the realm of the ability and will.
Allaah knows best.
