Discharge of Wadi does not require Ghusl

Question:
Assalaamu alaykum. I want to know if the Wadiyy (thick, white secretion that comes out after urinating) ) concerns only the man or also the woman, because after urinating, a thick, viscous liquid comes out sometimes. I do not know if I am in a state of major impurity then, and I read that Wadiyy concerns men only. Is that true? So should I perfrom Ghusl (ritual shower taken in state of major ritual impurity) or not? I do not know; sometimes, before going to the toilet, I see pictures on TV or read something and intentionnaly feel vibrations on my sexual organ, but I feel no pleasure; then when I go urinate, I see this and wonder if it is because of that or because of this urine, so I perform Ghusl many times just to be sure because iI read that this liquid which is called Waddiyy is for men only, so I conclude that for me, it means that I am in a state of major impurity, but I do not know, and I am fed up with making Ghusl every time I see this liquid. Please tell me what to do, Allaah willing. May Allaah bless you.
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, it should be noted that Wadi is not particular to men; women discharge Wadi as well. The author of Haashiyat Al-‘Adawi ‘ala Sharh Al-Kharashi Al-Maaliki said, “Know that women also discharge Wadi after discharging urine.”
As for the description of Wadi, An-Nawawi 
said, “Wadi is a thick, white, cloudy liquid that resembles Maniyy (semen) in its thickness, but it is different from it in its cloudiness and has no smell. It comes out immediately after urinating or when carrying heavy objects, and it comes out as one or two drops or the like. The scholars unanimously agreed that Ghusl is not required when Mathi (pre-ejaculatory fluid) or Wadi are emitted.” [Al-Majmoo’]
As for Mathi, An-Nawawi clarified its description as follows, “Mathi is a thin, sticky, white liquid that is emitted when one feels sexual desire but without feeling actual sexual pleasure or ejaculation, and it is not followed by tiredness, and one may not be aware that it is being emitted. Both men and women experience this, although women experience it more than men.”
Both Wadi and Mathi are ritually impure and discharging them invalidates the ablution. It is required to wash off the traces of both discharges from the person's body and clothes. As for Ghusl, it is only required when discharging Maniyy, which has a distinct description. In his commentary on Saheeh Muslim, Imaam An-Nawawi said, “The Maniyy of woman is thin and yellow. It may be white if she has physical strength. It has two distinguishing characteristics, either of which is sufficient to class the substance as Maniyy: firstly, it smells like the Maniyy of men, and secondly, its emission is accompanied by feelings of pleasure and is immediately followed by exhaustion.” [Sharh Saheeh Muslim]
Thus, the dear questioner comes to know that she was not required to perform Ghusl because the description of the discharge in the question is different from that of Maniyy.

Lastly, we would like to emphasize the prohibition of watching immorality on mass media involving immoral series and nude scenes and the like. It is incumbent on the Muslim to lower his/her gaze and refrain from watching indecency, in abidance with the divine command. Allah, The Exalted, says (what means): {Tell the believing men to reduce (some) of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do.*And tell the believing women to reduce (some) of their vision and guard their private parts...} [Quran 24:30-31]
