Graduating But Wants to Concentrate on Islamic Studies Instead

Question:

Assalamualaikum,I m a student doing my graduation in technology (BTech),I m very keen on studying about tafseer, hadith,fiqh etc and due to this I m unable to do my study for semester exam,I feel that I should leave it and move on to study deep in hadith and fiqh, because in this condition neither I m fully concentrating on college study nor able to give my time properly to Islamic studies what should I do? Your answer is eagerly awaiting Jazak-Allahu-khairan

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

First of all, we thank you for being keen on seeking Islamic knowledge and we ask Allah to increase your zeal in obtaining it and enable you to this effect.

You should know that you do not have to leave your study of worldly sciences (BTech) so that you can devote yourself to the study of Islamic knowledge. Since you are at the graduation level, then wisdom entails that you focus on your studies and strive to graduate. After graduation, you can devote yourslef to Islamic studies.

Therefore, we advise you to prepare yourself for the final tests and do your best to get the highest grades. Once you finish your exams, you may devote yourself to seek Islamic knowledge.
