Has a Xiaomi Phone and Suspects That It Is Forbidden to Use

Question:

As-salamu alaykum my question is regarding using xiaomi phone I found that the name xiaomi has been taken from a Buddhist concept the phone doesn't have logos but has some inbuilt apps with the name which I can't remove I think I am suffering from whispers

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

There is no harm on you in using this phone and the applications that it includes.

If we assume that its name or the name of those applications include prohibited matters, then as long as you did not name them yourself with that name, and this was a logo on them, then there is no sin on you, Allah willing.

You have to struggle against these whispers, repel them, and not give them any attention. Giving in to them leads to a great evil.
