All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu`alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
Imam Muslim narrated in his Saheeh on the authority of Anas ibn Maalik that the Messenger of Allah said, “Dajjal (the Antichrist) will be followed by seventy thousand Jews of Isfahan and will be dressed in robes of green colored satin.”
The same Hadeeth is narrated in the Musnad of Imam Ahmed with the following wording,
“The antichrist would come out from the Jews of Isfahan, and he would be accompanied by seventy thousand Jews wearing robes of green colored satin.” This Hadith is classified as good by Al-Arana’oot.
In Fat'h Al-Baari, Ibn Hajar mentioned that the Arabic word At-Tayaalisah means the dress that has a green, colored stain.
In Mashaariq Al-Anwaar, Qaadhi ʿIyaadh, on his part, views the word As-Seejan as used interchangeably with At-Taylasaan – the green robes of stains.
Allah knows best.
