All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
The quoted saying is circulating on social media sites as a prophetic narration, but it is not such, and we do not know its origin. It is clear from its words that it is a fabrication. The angels and what is related to them is a matter of the Unseen, in which speech is limited to textual evidence (Naql) from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and it is not permissible to say anything regarding them or the rest of the Unseen matters unless it is mentioned in the Qur’an or the Sunnah.
There is no doubt that injustice is absolutely forbidden, according to Sharee'ah. Islam has singled out women by issuing a greater warning concerning the failure to fulfill their rights and against oppressing them. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said: “O Allah, bear witness that I have issued a warning concerning (failure to fulfill) the rights of the two weak ones: Orphans and women.’” [Ibn Majah, authenticated by Ibn Hibban]
An-Nawawi said: “The meaning of "I have issued warning" to inflict sin on whoever neglected their (orphans and women's) rights, I strongly warn against neglecting their rights, and I rebuke it with certainty.” [End of quote]
Allah knows best.
