Is it permissible to use YouTube videos for educational purposes despite containing haram elements?

Question:

Is it permissible to benefit from YouTube videos for educational and beneficial purposes even though many of them may contain haram elements such as background music? For example, I watch a video about a certain subject to learn it, but their is music in the video.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

If it is possible to avoid hearing the sound of music, then there is no harm in benefiting from educational YouTube videos or other permissible materials.
