Wife driving in UAE

Question:

My wife is back in my country (UAE) and I am studying in UK where I might stay for three years. She needs to have driving license to take my children to school so is it ok to take it and drive; is it Halal?

If your wife is compelled to drive a car, there is no harm provided she sticks to Sharia limits and restrictions. For more details, please read Fatwa: 84155.
