Superstitious experiences

Question:
What is Islam's rulings regarding "Near death experiences" and "out of body experiences". I have experienced out of body experiences when I was very sick (and some times I wasn't even sick) and have read in few books that millions of people experience it so I wanted to enquire about its reality in Islam. Is there any Hadith about this?
Answer:
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
This matter mentioned in the question is among the superstitions and delusions which are not based on evidence from Allah's Book or the Sunnah (Tradition) of the Prophet (peace be upon him) or the practice of the righteous predecessors of this Ummah (Muslim Nation).
Thus, you must not engage yourself in such matters and should then busy yourself in what is beneficial to you in this life and the Hereafter. Allah, the Exalted, Says: {And Allah grants respite to none when his appointed time (death) comes.}[63:11].
Allah knows best.
