All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
We have already issued Fatwa: 83600 about the method of performing Tasaabeeh prayer. The narration that is mentioned in the said Fatwa suggests that there is only one Tasleem. However, some scholars are of the view that if this prayer is performed at night, then it is more proper to conclude the prayer after every two Rakaats and if it is performed during daytime, then one can pray four Rak'ahs with one Tasleem or say the Tasleem after the second Rak'ah Al-'Atheem Abaadi said: 'Imaam At-Tirmithi reported that Ibn Al-Mubaarak said: 'If one performs the prayer at night, then it is preferred according to me to say the Tasleem after every two Rak'ahs, and if one performs the said prayer during daytime, then it is up to him, he may say the Tasleem after the second Rak'ah or pray the four Rak'ahs with one Tasleem.'
Allaah knows best.
