It is permissible to delay Ghusl in the following case

Question:

What is the religious ruling if a Muslim did not purify himself from sexual defilement for more than one day?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

 

It is not permissible for a Muslim who finds water and is able to use it to delay Ghusl (a ritual bath) until the time of the present prayer is over unless he is a traveller and wants to combine the prayers and perform them at the time of the second prayer. In this case it is permissible for him to delay Ghusl until the time of the second prayer, provided one has enough time to perform Ghusl and the prayer before the end of the time of he second prayer.
