How can we reconcile between the hadith in which the prophet said, "No one of you should say, 'O Allaah, forgive me if You wish, O Allaah, have mercy on me if You wish;' he should be firm in his asking, for Allaah cannot be compelled." Is it permissible for a woman to wear perfume when she goes out or visits relatives? If she does so, is she considered an adulteress, and is she thus required to make ghusl (ritual bath) of janabah (state of major ritual impurity)?
