Rejecting a gift after receiving it
assalm alai kum, i just would like to clear my doubt. about a gift i gave to my in-law .they took it when i gave to them but after keeping and not using it for 2 years they returned me back saying they have lot of these. i had no intentions to take it back .but i was forced .did i do something wrong or a sin by taking it back? thank you . .. Their neighbour sends them gifts but they doubt that his income is lawful
Salam alaikum our neighbour gives us a lot of ths foodstuffs & other ths..but we're sure that he, as a policeman, gets money and other foodstuffs from people. we don't know wether he gets them as gift or bribe. we accept his wife's presents but we dnt eat anyth?is this correct?is it allowed to give that as alms to people instead of throwing it away?.. Receiving money obtained from Ribaa or lottery as a gift
Assalam-u-Alaikum, If a person "A" has some haram money e.g. if he wins a lottery or get some interest, and he give some money as a gift to some other person "B", is it allowed for person "B" to accept this money and use it? Accepting money as a gift from his employer
I work in France with a Prince from Saudi Arabia.
