Tomorrow in the general election in england is it halal to cast a vote in a non islamic country with non islamic laws or is it haram?
I have been told that to vote in a system that has no shariah law as it's legislation is haram? Is this right or is it wrong?

Giving derogatory name to religious minority
Assalaamu alaykum. I am from Bangladesh, where a low percentage of Hindu Bangalis reside. Some of the Muslims here call all the Hindus 'Malawun', which comes from the Arabic 'Mal'un', which means cursed. As far as I know about the word 'La'nah', it means going out of Allaah's mercy.
