Stomach ulcer and fasting
My mum had stomach ulcer last Ramadan and she was hospitalized. The doctor said "it is better that she doesn't fast anymore". What about this year can she fast? She is very confused and cannot decide?.. More

When Fasting Aggravates the Condition of a Sick Person
I was suffering from dilatation and estinosis in the urethra which let to ballooning and pain in both kidney. I've undergone a major surgery on one urethra to remove the estinosis, but after the surgery IVP image revealed than surgery has improved the situation by only 50 percent. Physician Forbids Fasting
I take psychiatric medicines and the doctor forbade me to fast. I live in Switzerland and the doctor is Swiss. The medicines gives a lot hunger and thirst. Must I fast Ramadan even I'm sick?

Stomach Ulcer Prevented Fasting

Medical Problems and Fasting
One of my sons is a renal failure patient; he is on CAPD and can’t fast due to his treatment (4 time a day one liter liquid is drained and inserted in the abdomen. Taking Medication and Fasting
I have a medical condition Narcolepsy. If I don't take medication in the morning I cannot get out of bed and will sleep most of the day until I take it.
