Question
Strugling to get the job but didn't find since 2yrs.I really want to know whats the problem with me,some one say to change the name ,but i think i did something wrong or i don't know.my name is shadia born on 19 feb 1984 please help me i will do anything to come on correct path
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, we advise you to fear Allaah and to have trust in Him as this is the key to all good and the means to success in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. Allaah Says (what means): {… And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whoever relies upon Allaah — then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allaah will accomplish His purpose. Allaah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.}[Quran 65:2-3] Allaah also Says (what means): {And whoever fears Allaah -- He will make for him of his matter ease.}[Quran 65:4]
The difficulties and calamities which befall a person in this life may be a test from Allaah in order to check one’s faith and see how patient he is. It could also be due to a sin which he committed and did not repent from it, or a means to raise one’s degree and wipe out his sins.
Therefore, you should repent to Allaah from every sin and be steadfast on the obedience of Allaah and think good of Him. Also, you should know that everything that happens in this world is predestined by Allaah, so a believer should be patient with the Decree and Predestination of Allaah.
As regards changing your name, we have already clarified to you in Fatwa 101298 that you are not obliged to change your name as it does not include any religious prohibition.
Finally, you should not be pessimistic about your name or believe that it is the reason for failing to get a job.
