Question
Assalamu alaikum. i saw your fathwa no:82314 in this fathwa you mentioned that safforon clothes are permitted,i want to know that Hadees which in you mentioned that prophet sallallaahu alaihi va sallam wore it. jazakallahu khairan.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The Prophetic narration which you inquired about is reported by Imaam Ahmad 
from Ibn ‘Umar 
that he used to dye his clothes with saffron and wipe his skin with it. Then he [Ibn ‘Umar ] was asked, ‘‘Why do you dye this with saffron?" He replied, ‘‘It is because I saw that it was the most beloved dye to the Prophet ; he used to apply it on his skin and dye his clothes with it.’’
