Question
As salamu aleykum,
I made a oath (yameen) to my woman by saying ''wallahi i will not call you so and so..." but after our child fall off from something and hurt himself, i did get very angry and in this very angry state i said what i made oath to.
Does this nessaciate kaffarah ? I was in very angry state and said it without thinking.

Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
Anger does not prevent breaking an oath from taking place as long as the oath is made and the person who made it, did what he made the oath not to do, or that one did not do what he made the oath to do. Therefore, you are obliged to expiate for it, as Allaah Says (what means): {So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it], then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allaah make clear to you His verses [i.e. revealed law] that you may be grateful.}[Quran 5:89]
Finally, it should be mentioned that if there is a reason for making an oath, and then one breaks his oath after the reason does no longer exist, then it is not an obligation to expiate, in this case. This is known by some Schools of jurisprudence as the issue of “Bisaat” (i.e. context of an oath), which is the reason that leads someone to make an oath.
