Question
Assalaamu alaikum,
Is it ok to make a label type thing for the bathroom dua in and ouside the bathroom door for remembrance? i know it cant be written in arabic inside the bathroom (and i wont do it in arabic outside the door either) but can it be just the translation like this
before entering the bathroom
Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothubika minal kubthi walkhabaa'ith

Is there anyother places where arabic (Quran vereses) shouldnt be written (on paper)?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
Scholars stated that it is disliked for the Muslim to enter the bathroom carrying (or wearing) any item which carries bears Thikr (the mention of Allaah The Almighty), because this represents disrespect of this Thikr. For further information, see Fataawa 81561 and 91621. Apparently – and Allaah Knows best – the ruling is the same whether the Thikr is written in Arabic or in other languages.
Similarly, Thikr should not be hung up there even outside the bathroom since it is not safe from exposure to disrespect. Moreover, translating Thikr is not sufficient (to get the reward of Thikr); the point is to say the Thikr in its exact words. In general, any item carrying words of the Quran or Thikr should be kept away from the unclean places and from anything which may expose it to disrespect.
