One quasi (religious judge) issued verdict for divorce to a women. Is it allow for the same judge to marry the same girl. Is it allowed to a Muslim judge to enjoy himself benefits from his judgment.
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
It is an obligation on the judge to only rule according to the noble Sharee’ah in matters of divorce or any other matter and if he issues a verdict of divorce of a woman according to the Sharee’ah, then it is permissible for him to marry that woman if he is not accused (of being biased) in that judgment. The same thing applies to benefitting from and judgment that he issued, like buying something upon which he issued a ruling about invalidating its sale to a third party.
In any case a judge should avoid all this so that people would not think bad about him as it is religiously required that a Muslim avoids situations that could lead to suspicion; this is even more confirmed in regard to the judge.
Allaah Knows best.
