Question
Assalamualaikum is it allowed to get female clothes stiched from Male Tailors? Regards
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
It is permissible for a woman to get her clothes stitched by a male tailor but one should avoid being lenient in what some people do, like allowing the male tailor to be in seclusion with the woman or take her measures and so forth, as by doing so, he touches her body and sees her beauty and hidden adornments, and this is a great evil and not permissible as it leads to much affliction.
Allaah Says (what means): {O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan — indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing.} [Quran 24:21]
