Question
I have heard that there are six signs of the Hour that are mentioned in one Hadeeth. What are these signs?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
On the authority of ‘Awf ibn Maalik 
the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, mentioned six of the signs of the Hour. They are: his demise; the conquest of Al-Quds (Jerusalem); the increase in the rate of death; the increase of money to such an extent that even if one is given one hundred Gold dinars in charity, he would not be satisfied, and then a Fitnah (tribulation) which no Arab house will escape; and then a truce will occur between the Muslims and the Christians who will betray the Muslims and then attack them with a great army.
