I have read the Arabic Fatwa on your website where you have said that the Hanafis and Hanabalis have said that taking payment on teaching the Quran is not allowed and I agree with this view. Please keep this in mind when answering the following questions. My question is that if I make a website where I teach the Quran and Hadith and then place permitted advertisements to make money would that be equal to taking money on teaching the Quran? Or is the hadith in which a person has been forbidden to take money when teaching the Quran limited to taking money from the person one teaches? When a person places advertisements he is paid if a person clicks on the ad and then purchases a product. If I place such ads on a website which teaches the Quran will it be forbidden?
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
Allaah kows best.
