Question
Assalamu alikum va rahmatullah, In holly quran, Injeel is considered to be an authentic revelation which is transformed to today's so called Bible, in which the name of the prophet are sound english like Jesus, marry, moses, jonah but the last and final revelation quran mentioning the prophet's names are in arabic slang, so how would you justify these arabic names are the true name in same breath where quran approving the revelation of injeel and so called bible.? Jazakallah khaiyiran.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, you should know that the Quran has confirmed that Allaah had sent down the Injeel (the Gospel) to ‘Eesa (Jesus) 
and at the same time, the Quran clarified that the Gospel was distorted like the Torah. Allaah entrusted its preservation to the rabbis but they falsified it and altered it, so it was distorted; Allaah says (what means): {Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to Allaah] judged by it for the Jews, as did the rabbis and scholars by that with which they were entrusted of the Scripture of Allaah.}[Quran 5:44]
There is no greater evidence for this distortion than the major contradictions that are in the Gospels, as narratives and facts differ within the same stories.
With regard to the difference that you mentioned regarding the pronunciation of the names of the Prophets between the Quran and the other divine books, then it has no effect and it does not mean that these names are different. The reason for this is the difference of languages. It should also be noted that the Gospel was originally revealed in the Syriac language (a dialect of Middle Aramaic). The Gospel that exists now in English or other languages is a translation.
