Assalamualaikum. In hadeeth it says everyone will love one who is loved by Allah.what if one is not important to everyone eventhough he is very religiuos? Is he not dear to Allah? How can we understand
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
It is confirmed in the Hadeeth that if Allaah loves a person, then that person finds acceptance on earth, as the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “If Allaah loves a person, He calls Jibreel (Gabriel) saying, ‘Allaah loves so and so, so love him.’ Jibreel would love him and make an announcement among the inhabitants of the Heaven: ‘Allaah loves so and so, so love him,’ and so all the inhabitants of the Heaven would love him, and then he is granted acceptance on earth.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Al-‘Ayni said: “The Prophet’s saying, ‘then he is granted acceptance on earth,’ meaning by most of the people who know him among the believers, and good mention of him remains on earth. It is also said that its meaning is that he will find love in the hearts of the people of the earth, and they will praise and admire him.” [Excerpted from ‘Umdat Al-Qaari]
He also said: “The Prophet’s saying, ‘then he is granted acceptance on earth,’ meaning among the people of the earth, i.e. in their hearts, and it is learned from that that the one who is accepted by the hearts (of people) is beloved to Allaah Almighty. It was also said, ‘Such a person will be granted acceptance on earth among the pious people, not among all the people.” [End of quote]
Hence, it is not necessary that all the people love him; rather, the oppressors and people of bad moral character as well as the disbelievers may become enemies to him, on account of their injustice and envy, in the same way that they were enemies to the Prophets and their followers.
