Question
Was the Prophet allowed to marry from the Ansaar? There is a speaker who claims he was not allowed to marry from the Ansaar and that this hadith was authenticated was Ibn Sad and Nasai, however I do not know any such hadith.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
An-Nasaa’i named one of the chapters in his Sunan “The Jealous Woman”, and he included in this chapter a Hadeeth from Anas 
who said: “They (the Companions) asked: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, why do you not marry one of the women of the Ansaar?’ He replied: ‘They have intense jealousy.’”
However, this does not mean that he was not allowed to marry them; rather he did not want to marry them due to the reason which he mentioned.
This is evidence that when a person chooses a wife, he should not choose one who is very jealous. Most women are jealous but there is a dispraised jealousy which is that which triggers doubts and suspicions at all times and thus turns the family’s life into intolerable Hell. As regards the moderate jealousy, it is acceptable and may even be recommended at times.
When the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, wanted to marry Umm Salamah 
to console her after the death of her husband, Abu Salamah, and she apologized because of being jealous, he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, supplicated Allaah for her and Allaah removed the jealousy that she had. [Ahmad and others]
