Fatwa CenterReciting Quran verses with intention of supplication does not make them 'created'
Question
AsSalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahBefore two days I sent you question and got answer (fatwa number 243994), but I want to check did I understand good.When we supplicate for example- Rabbana atina fid-dunya ..., Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana...., and others. When we recite this duas and supplicate with intention of dua, not with intention of reciting Qur'an, do we even in that situation say that this duas are also not created, and their reciting is not created ?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ʻalayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
These words are part of supplications mentioned in the Quran. Reciting them with the intention of invoking Allaah does not change the fact that they are part of the Quran. However, we do not say that the one saying them is reciting the Quran, so the rules pertaining to the Quran do not apply here.
Al-Fakhr Ar-Raazi 
said in his Tafseer in relation to the worshipper performing a prayer, “If it is said that when one says, "Enter it in peace" [Quran 15:46], and he intends to inform, it should not be considered Quran or Thikr. We say, it is of itself Quran. If one says it with the purpose of informing, intending to request and permit entry, it is not considered reciting the Quran, although the very words are part of the Quran.” [Mafaatih Al-Ghayb]
