Question
Are there any authentic hadiths that say that the Dajjal will use music to attract people or that his followers will use musical instruments?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
What you are asking about belongs to the matters of the Unseen; the knowledge of which is not established except through divine revelation, namely the Quran and Sunnah. We could not find any evidence to this effect in the books available to us. Moreover, the knowledge of such a matter does not yield any real benefit and not knowing about it does not cause any harm. Therefore, the Muslim should not concern himself with it; rather, he should ask about the matters that benefit him in his worldly life and the Hereafter.
