Question
Dear Brother/Sister, Assalaamu alaykum. Can you please help me to understand whether the following statement can affect the wedding: an angry husband who tells his wife, "You are destroying your own house." Thank you, and regards.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
The statement in reference does not affect the marriage bond. However, the spouses should be keen on living with each other in kindness and on using the good words and good actions that bring forth affection towards one another.
