Question
There is a book titled Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjjaal wa’l Harb Al-Qaadimah, written by Muhammad ‘Eesa Daawood. He states in it that the Antichrist will emerge from the Bermuda Triangle. What is your opinion about this?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alyhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
The Antichrist is in the East and will emerge from Khuraasaan (a province in Iran), followed by seventy thousand of the Jews of Asbahaan (another province in Iran), and will tread a pass between Ash-Shaam (greater Syria) and Iraq. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said about the Antichrist: "He is in the Sea of Ash-Shaam or in the Sea of Yemen. Indeed, from the East he is, from the East he is, from the East he is." [Muslim] Also, It was narrated on the authority of Abu Bakr 
that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "The Antichrist shall come out from a land in the east called Khuraasaan." [Ahmad, At-Tirmithi, Ibn Maajah and Al-Haakim: Saheeh (Authentic) (Ath-Thahabi, Al-Albaani and Al-Arnaa’oot agreed with him)] In another Hadeeth, the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "The Antichrist will emerge from among the Jews of Asbahaan and will be followed by seventy thousand of the Jews wearing crowns." [Ahmad] [Ibn Hajar: Saheeh (Authentic)]
Also, the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "Seventy thousand of the Jews of Asbahaan wearing Taylasaan (a shawl-like garment worn over the head and shoulders) shall follow the Antichrist". [Muslim]
Describing the Antichrist, he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, also said: "He is in the way between Ash-Shaam and Iraq". [Muslim] Moreover, it must be known that the Bermuda Triangle is still a mystery, despite modern technology and techniques. It is said that all means of transportation that reach this place just vanished without a trace. Furthermore, it is said that electric generators and communication devices stop functioning when approaching this place. Therefore, it is difficult to confirm the existence of anything in it. However, the most important thing for us now is to strengthen our faith in order to be safe from imposters who come before the greatest imposter (the Antichrist), and in order to keep ourselves firm on the right path when he emerges.
