Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

One should avoid playing games in which there is imitation of what is forbidden in the Sharee’ah because it is training on committing what is forbidden and having the courage on doing it; in addition to imitating non-Muslims and dissolute people.

Allah Says (what means): {…and do not follow their inclinations.} [Quran 42:15 ]

Also, the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” [Abu Daawood]

Ibn Taymiyyah may Allaah have mercy upon him said about the above Hadeeth: “Its chain of narration is good.

The jurists stated that it is forbidden to drink what is lawful in a manner in which alcohol is drunk, as this involves imitating dissolute people.

As regards the examples that you have mentioned in your question, then there is no imitation of a forbidden matter in them. Therefore, it does not seem to us that it is forbidden to play those games.

Going through a red light is not forbidden in itself, but it is forbidden due to the harm that may result from it, and this does not exist in games.

With regard to a man wearing clothes of red color, then it was reported that there is a consensus about its permissibility and that it is not forbidden.

As for shaving the beard, the view of the majority of the scholars is that it is forbidden. What is forbidden is shaving the beard, and not playing with a player in a game who has shaved his beard.

Concerning women not wearing the Niqaab (face covering), it is a matter of difference of opinion among the scholars. The majority of the scholars are of the view that it is not forbidden.

Allah knows best.
