Question
Why is Islam addressed to the whole world?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
Islam is a universal message addressing the whole world because it is the last of all religions, after which there shall not be any other religion. With the advent of Islam all previous religions were abrogated. It is the most merciful, simplest, easiest and only religion that is appropriate for all times and places. Hence, it deserves to be the only religion that all humanity must follow and the only religion that Allaah The Almighty accepts from His slaves; Allaah Says (what means): {And whoever desires other than Islam as religion -“never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.} [Quran 3:85]
