In case of assuming ihram (ritual consecration) for Tamattu‘ Hajj, what should a pilgrim say? Could you please answer quickly? May Allah reward you.
All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
A pilgrim who intends to perform Tamattu' Hajj should hold the intention for performing ‘Umrah at the miqat (place for assuming ihram) and then, upon assuming ihram, say, "Labbayka Allaahumma ‘Umrah (O Allah, here I am to perform ‘Umrah)," or, "Labbayka Allaahumma ‘Umratan mutamatti‘an biha illal-Hajj (O Allah, here I am to perform ‘Umrah followed by Hajj)." Then one performs ‘Umrah and abandons the state of ihram. When it is time for performing Hajj, he again assumes ihram for Hajj and says "Labbayka Allaahumma Hajj (O Allah, here I am to perform Hajj)."
Allah Knows best.
