All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Selling statues is forbidden because it involves helping others commit sins, but it is not an act of disbelief in and of itself as long as the seller does not approve and is displeased with disbelief.
Ibn Taymiyyah said in Majmoo’ Al-Fatawa: “If a man helps another to disobey Allah, the Exalted, he bears sin for it, because this would constitute cooperation in sin and transgression. This is why the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, cursed Khamr (intoxicants: alcohol, wine, etc.), the one who drinks it, the one who pours it for others, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who makes it, the one for whom it is made, the one who carries it, the one whom it is carried to, and the one who consumes its price.
Most of these people, namely the ones who make, pour, serve, and carry it, help the sinner who consumes Khamr in committing that sin … If such action constitutes cooperation in committing sin, then how grave is it to help others perform rituals of disbelief! It is prohibited for a Muslim to make or sell the cross either for free or in return for fees. It is also prohibited for the Muslim to make or sell idols. Also, the Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: 'Allah, The Exalted, has prohibited the trade of Khamr, dead animals, pigs, and idols.' Whoever takes money for a particular item that is prohibited, or for a particular service that he did – such as wages for a cross-maker, and the like – let him or her give it in charity, and repent of that sinful deed, and giving such money in charity will be an expiation for what he or she did…” [End of quote]
Allah knows best.
