Sending picture of women to a tailor

Question

I sent some pictures of khimar models to a tailor. In one picture, a girl was wearing a prayer khimar. Nothing was visible except her face and hands. She did not cover her chest with any other cloth. And the shape of her chest was somewhat evident. In another picture, a girl was wearing a similar khimar, but in this picture the shape of the girl's chest was not so clear. If the tailor keeps these pictures on his phone and looks at them over and over again, will I be a sinner? What can I do?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad ( sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention )) is His slave and Messenger.

You should not have sent those pictures to that man, so that you would not be among those who guide others toward wrongdoing. However, now that you have already sent them, seek Allah’s forgiveness. And if you are able to send him a message asking him to remove those pictures, then do so. If he responds, then all praise is due to Allah; and if not, then you have cleared yourself of responsibility. The scholars have stated that whoever repents from a sin, his repentance is accepted, and he is not harmed by the remaining effects of the sin that he is unable to remove.

Allah Knows best.
