With all of this technology today, why aren't there electronic voting machines to elect Ameer El Momeneen?

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

The body authorized to elect Ameer El-Momeneen is the influential council composed of the Muslim distinguished scholars, and notables who will be able to attend a general meeting to be held for this purpose in the concerned Muslim country. If there is unanimous agreement or the majority of them agreed to elect a Caliph for the Muslims then the citizens should endorse and approve this election. There is no need for any electronic voting machine in this regard.
