Question
Why do so many Arab people love foreigners and hate their Muslim brothers?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The Muslim is asked to love his Muslim brothers regardless of their origin or race and no matter where they live. Allah Says (what means): {Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed.} [Quran 5: 55]
The Prophet said: “None of you will be a true believer unless he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” But if you mean by foreigners, non-Muslim people, then there is no doubt that showing love or affection to non-believers is forbidden. Allah Says (what means): {You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred..} [Quran 58: 22]
Some Muslims get overwhelmed by the comfort and ease in which the non-believers live, and they are attracted by their ways of living and even love them and imitate them. This is all because of their weak religion.
As for harming Muslims, it is forbidden under all circumstances. In fact, the Muslim is the brother of his fellow Muslim; he must not aggress him, give him up or humiliate him. The Muslim is also the person who does not offend others with his hand or tongue.
We ask Allah to return Muslims to the right religion.
