Question
I'm a 26 years old student living in the USA. I feel like I want to get married but I don't have family around here, so can they find me a wife? What should I do?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
If this is the case, then you can request the help of any Muslims in the closest Islamic Center. You inform them of your desire to get married to a religious and pious woman. You may also seek the help of a trustworthy Muslim woman to look for a suitable girl for you.
However, we advise you not to do any of those things before you perform the Istikhaarah prayer and seek the advise of some trustworthy Muslims. You may also delay marriage, if you can, until you get together with your family and involve them in choosing the right spouse for you. Do this if you do not fear to commit Zina (fornication or adultery).
