Question
What is the Islamic ruling for burial for on babies who have gone the whole nine months but died before coming into the world?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
There is no disagreement among Muslim scholars that a miscarried fetus should be buried even if he was less than nine months old. But they differ concerning washing him and performing the funeral prayer on him.
The predominant opinion is that we have to wash him and to perform the funeral prayer on him as long as his age is four months or more. This is the opinion of Ahmad and one of the Shaafi’i’s School opinions in this concern.
